Our manufacturing processes, including sophisticated machinery like a hot steel rolling mill with the capacity of 1500 Mt. per month and a bright bar unit, are designed by putting our customer's best interests in mind to guarantee the highest production standards. FOUNDER
Mr. Gopal A. Parekh
Our story is rooted in the remarkable journey of a steel stalwart, Gopal Parekh, who has dedicated over 40 years to the steel industry. Beginning from humble beginnings in a village, he moved to Mumbai and started his career with a job, which eventually led to the founding of a small trading company.
With perseverance and vision, he, along with his two brothers and his son, Jatin Parekh, laid the foundation for Fortran Steel. Today, happily retired, he remains a vital part of our community, dedicating his time and energy to helping others and inspiring us to continue creating value through our work.

Mr. Jatin Parekh
Jatin Parekh, our CEO and Managing Director, began his journey in the steel industry at the young age of 19 when he co-founded Fortran Steel alongside his father and uncles in 1991.
Over the past 35 years, his unwavering commitment and vision have propelled the company to remarkable heights, supplying steel to over 30 countries and achieving more than 5 million tonnes in steel sales. Jatin holds the company's core values close to his heart, guiding Fortran Steel with a steadfast dedication to quality, integrity, and innovation. His leadership continues to inspire our team to reach new milestones while staying true to the principles that have shaped our legacy.
